Kim spent 20 years as a competitive figure skater and skier, studying classical ballet and performing professionally. Despite treasuring the journey, she ended up with joint damage and chronic pain. In 2014, she took her first Lagree Method class on the megaformer. They had her at “wheelbarrow,” just two minutes into the class. She knew she had found her ideal workout, decided to get certified, and eventually opened her own studio. Kim holds an advanced level 2 certification in the Lagree Method and has been teaching it for a decade.
